General Information

Located in the heart of Bokaro Steel City, St. Xavier’s School was founded in the year 1966 by the local unit of the Society of Jesus, popularly known as the “Jesuits.” It is a Catholic-Christian Minority school affiliated to Council for the Indian School Certificate Examinations (CISCE). The pupils of this institution call themselves Xavierians.

The programmes and activities of the school are structured to facilitate the bodily, mental, spiritual and emotional well-being of the students and the development of their social and interpersonal skills. The school ensures that students enjoy their academic pursuit in a happy and congenial atmosphere.
