Principal's Desk

St. Xavier’s, Bokaro, is a great educational tradition that is nearly six centuries old. Over the past five decades we have tried to live up to the ideals set forth by the tradition. We are in a mission of imparting value-oriented education namely the ‘Jesuit Education’.

Jesuit Education is holistic as it seeks the growth and development of the whole person encompassing the cognitive, affective, psychomotor and spiritual domains. The programmes and activities of the school are structured to facilitate the bodily, mental, spiritual and emotional well being of the students and the development of their social and interpersonal skills. It helps students to realize that talents are gifts to be developed, not merely for self-satisfaction or self-gain, but rather for the good of the human community. Students are encouraged to use their gifts in the service of others, out of the Love for God.
